RACINE – Thomas C. Maresh, 79, passed away at Ascension All Saints on February 8, 2022.

He was born in Louisville, KY on January 21, 1943, the son of the late Clement and Mary (nee Reichel) Maresh.  He graduated from Salem High School in Salem, OH.

Tom moved to Racine and met the love of his life, Judith Katherine Lui.   They were married on May 2, 1964.  Judi preceded Tom in death on November 22, 2013.

Tom was a pattern maker for over 41 years. He also drove school bus, worked as a gas station attendant and as a fast-food cook.

Tom had many hobbies including deer hunting, fishing, and boating on Lake Michigan, bowling, cribbage, poker, sheepshead and going to casinos.  He loved the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee Bucks. He also enjoyed coaching many youth sports teams for his brothers and his son, Gary as well as hosting many ACC sanctioned cribbage tournaments.  However, Tom was happiest in the company of his family where he cherished many dinners, cookouts, pizza parties and celebrations.

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Carla (Tom) Jameson of Racine and his granddaughter, Sara Jameson also from Racine; his siblings, Larry (Joy) Maresh, of Racine, Terry (Karen) Maresh of Des Moines, IA,  Marilynne (John) Schultz of Racine, and Carolynne (Ray) Carlson of Ironwood, MI; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially his special friends, Mark and Pam Mano and Bill and Colleen Prochniak. In addition to his parents and loving wife, Judi, Tom was preceded in death by his dear son, Gary Maresh.    Tom was the patriarch of the family and will be greatly missed.
