Racine – Tibor "Ted" Jozsef Ruska, 75, of Sturtevant, passed away at WFH-All Saints on Friday, March 7, 2014.  Ted was born in Papa, Hungary on March 8, 1938, son of the late Jozsef and Jolan (nee: Nagy) Ruska.

Ted immigrated to the U.S. in 1958 and joined the U.S. Army serving in the 82nd Airborne Division where he was awarded badges as a parachutist and sharpshooter.  He was united in marriage to Ilona "Helen" Varga on December 1, 1963.  They were blessed with two children, Thomas and Eva.  Ilona preceded Tibor in death on March 22, 1987.  On June 29, 2000, Ted received a second chance at love when he married Elaine (nee: Moore) Mulvey.  They enjoyed traveling together and simply enjoyed each other's companionship.

Ted worked as a machinist at Bosch Rexroth in Sturtevant for 38 years, retiring in the year 2000.  He made many close friendships in his years there.  In his younger years, Ted enjoyed swimming and fishing.  Later in life, he enjoyed traveling, especially to warm and sunny locations.  Ted will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Ted is survived by his wife, Elaine Ruska; two children, Thomas (Ann) Ruska, Eva Fojtik; two grandchildren, Christopher and Morgan Ruska; sister, Eva (Joseph) Borsodi; nine step-children, and eleven step-grandchildren.

Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Jozsef and Jolan Ruska; and first wife, Ilona Ruska.

A celebration of Ted's life will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2014, 6:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating.  Visitation will be from 4:00pm until the time of the service.
