Timothy Christensen

Racine – Timothy W. Christensen, 58, passed away at home on Friday, October 24, 2014. He was born in Racine on July 27, 1956, son of the late Wilfred and Betty (nee: Storbeck) Christensen.

After graduating from Horlick High School, Tim served with pride in the US Marine Corps. Tim worked in the construction trades as a builder and electrician throughout the Racine area. He enjoyed watching the Packers and fishing with his girls.

Tim is survived by his daughters, Miranda Kramer of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Caitlin Christensen of Racine, and Jessi (Kai) Christensen also of Colorado Springs; granddaughters, Emma and Delilah Christensen; and his former wife, Tammi Christensen of Racine. He is further survived by his brothers, Carl (Eileen) Christensen, Rich (Faye) Christensen, and Bill (Karen) Christensen; his sisters, Denise “Sara” (Scott) Rude, Sally (Rodney) Holmdahl, Laura (Mike) Hayne, Anna (Daniel) Larson, and Pamela (Rick) Franke; and sister-in-law, Mari Christensen; as well as many other relatives and dear friends, including Richard, Terry, and Ted. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dan Christensen.

Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 6:30pm. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm. Interment and military honors will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 10:00a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2014. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
