Kenosha, WI – Tohsa Renee Foster affectionally known as ''Tosha" or "Renee" transitioned to a world of peace, happiness and joy on January 8, 2019 in Kenosha, WI. Her mother was welcoming her with open arms at the gates of heaven. She was born May 8, 1972 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to the late Fannie Foster and Linery Brown.
Tosha received her formal education in the Kenosha Unified School District and graduated from Tremper High School. She went on to further her education at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, WI in nursing and as a nursing assistant. Tosha accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Second Baptist Church in Kenosha, WI.
Tosha met and married Christopher Ware in Kenosha, WI; to this union four children were born, Davairian, Christopher, Deijia and Morrissa. They later divorced and Tosha has another child, Lee.
Tosha held various jobs throughout the years. She owned and operated her own in-home child daycare for many years. Tosha loved her children and she took pride in caring for others too. Her most important job was being a loving mother and grandmother. Her children were her world and her grandchildren were the loves of her life.
Tosha leaves to forever cherish her memories, five children, Davairian Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Deijia Lewis, Morrissa Lewis and Lee Taylor, Jr., all of Kenosha, WI; 11 grandchildren; her father and stepmother, Linery and Theoplis (Goldie) Brown of Kenosha WI; great grandmother Cora Foster of Kenosha, WI; a brother, Linery Lamont Foster of Fond du Lac, WI; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, dear friends and family. She also leaves to cherish her memory Christopher Ware and Lee Taylor, Sr., her children's fathers.
Tosha was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie Foster; maternal grandfather, Nathaniel Foster, Sr; and paternal grandparents.
A Celebration of Her Life Service will be held at 6 pm, Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the Chapel of Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Road, Racine, WI. Visitation will be in the Chapel from 4:00pm until the time of service. Interment will be Private.
