I first met Troy in 1965 at Horlick High School. I lost track of him until 1992, when he returned to work at DVR. We worked as Counselors in the same offices in Milwaukee and later we transferred to Racine. Troy was a Social Unifier. He worked diligently bringing people together trying to improve the quality of their lives. He is my brother in Christ and he was a Dear Friend in Life and I will forever speak of him and the wonderful deeds he achieved. My Condolences to the immediate and extended family members. Troy expressed many many times Just how much he Loved all of Family… The Pasted and Present Family.

My condolences to Ms. Ratliff and the Cobb family. It has to be known that my life would not be what it is today without the support and guidance of Mr. Troy Cobb. WhenI struggled, to find my way Troy would tell me that “this is not your direction” and when I decided to pursue higher education it solely happened because of Troy Cobb. I would not be living the life I have if it were not for Mr. Cobb.
Rest In Peace. I am forever grateful.

Nola and family,
We knew Troy when he recruited students for the UW-Platteville graduate program in Adult Education. Dick was an instructor in the program. (I was his behind-the-scenes tech support for managing the TV presentation technology.) We had the pleasure of joining you and Troy for dinner one evening in Racine following a Sat. class session–years ago.
I (Dick) always appreciated Troy’s friendship. His dedication to the Adult Learner program contributed to the success the program experienced. His efforts to recruit students and to provide continuing support and encouragement were vital to the success of the diverse student body that was involved in this master’s degree experience.
With Sincere Condolences,
Dr. Richard A. Rogers (Dick) and Carol
