Obituary

Urijah LaRoy Gilleylen, 4 months, became an angel on Monday, June 25th. He was born in Racine on Feb. 7, 2007, the son of Shevon Smith and Bilal Gilleylen Sr.. Urijah is survived by his parents; brothers and sisters, Bilal Jr., Quishani, Saivion, Saivon, Nioka; grandparents, Rennaia Wesley, Bernard Smith, Vannessa and James Nunn all of Racine; great grandparents, Barbara Buggs of Milwaukee, and Lee Smith of Racine. His aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and family friends survive him. His grandfather LeRoy Johnson preceded him in death. Urijah has a change of address. Dear family and friends, I want to let you know that I have received a call from God, who informed me that my new home is ready and that I could move in immediately. I know that you all think that it is kind of soon; but I have been sending up timber, packing up and getting ready to go. Something you all just didn't know. Well, my new home is finished and it's a beautiful sight to behold! It is located on an exclusive estate. And it sits behind the Pearly Gates. Of course, the streets are paved with gold and everyday is Sunday. I have lived in a couple of places before, but neither one can compare. I have already met a lot of children. We can play with peace, joy and happiness, and, there is no crying here. I could go on and on about my new home, but, I have to go get fitted for my new robe. I look forward to seeing you all again one day. Be sure to travel safe on your journey. Let me give you my new address: Urijah Gilleylen 04 Jesus Way Godstown, Heaven 6-25-07 With love, Urijah P.S. I don't have telephone yet but just call God. If you don't know the number He is listed in the Good Book on every page. Try this one first, Psalm 30:5 His Homegoing Service will be held on Friday, June 29th at 11:00 a.m. in Searching Together Baptist Church, 825-21st St., with Rev. Willie Riley officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Pease see Thursday's paper for the complete obituary.
