Veronica Klapproth

Dec 21, 1924 – Oct 5, 2007

Kenosha- Veronica Marion Anastasia (nee: Kaminiskis) Klapproth, 82, passed away at Brookside Care Center in Kenosha on Friday, October 5, 2007. Veronica was born in Kenosha on December 21, 1924 to the late John Charles and Magdeline (nee: Degris) Kaminiskis. She lived in Kenosha / Racine area all of her life. On October 19, 1946 in St. Casimir Catholic Church – Racine, she was united in marriage with Daniel A. Klapproth, Jr. Veronica was a longtime member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Prior to the death of her beloved husband, Daniel, they enjoyed being active with the Somer’s Snowmobile Club and antique car collecting. Veronica was also fond of flower gardening, wild asparagus picking and was an animal enthusiast – having a special place in her heart for her canine friends. She is survived by many dear nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her “Aunt Ronnie”, too numerous to mention by name. In addition to her husband, Aunt Ronnie was preceded in death by her dear son, Daniel August Klapproth III. Funeral services will be held in Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 2000 W. 6th Street, on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Jeff Barrow officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church on Tuesday from 11 am – 12:00 noon. In memory of Veronica, memorials to Brookside Care Center or to Holy Communion Church have been suggested. A heartfelt note of thanks to the entire staff of Brookside Care Center – Kenosha for providing a wonderful home and for the compassionate care so warmly extended to Aunt Ronnie over the past four years. May God bless all of you!
