Services celebrating Wally’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 12:00PM. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 10:00AM until the time of service.

Walter “Wally” Johnson, age 74, passed away at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Wally was born in Racine to Walter and Joan (nee: Pfeiffer) Johnson on March 19, 1951. He was employed at American Motors, Chrysler and various trucking companies throughout his career. On February 20, 2006, Wally was united in marriage with Eleonora Valaityte. Among his interests, Wally loved being outdoors, spending his time fishing, hunting and camping with Eleonora and their close friends; was an avid card player, especially cribbage and sheepshead; and shot pool in numerous leagues.
Surviving are his loving wife, Eleonora; son, Dale Johnson; grandchildren, Megan (James Bergsrud), Kiele and Jonathon Johnson; son-in-law, Derek Wright; sisters and brothers, Judy Ruelle, Kathy Hicks, Gary (Kathy) Johnson, Ken Johnson, Barbara (Dan) DeFaut and Karen (Willie) Johnson; 3 aunts; 14 nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews; 1 great great niece; cousins, other relatives and many friends. Wally was preceded in death by his parents; Eleonora’s parents, Ona and Vaidotas; daughter, Shannon Johnson; brothers, Gene Allen and Allen Johnson; brothers-in-law, Keith Ruelle and Dean Hicks; aunts, uncles and cousins.
