Wayne Rhodes, age 61, made his transition on January 29, 2023 at 2:02 AM at Ascension All Saints Hospital. However, during his transition in the hospital, Wayne did accept Christ. Wayne, better known as Moo-Moo, was born August 23, 1961 to the union of John Wayne and Lillie French-Rhodes in Chicago, Illinois. Wayne grew up on the west side of Chicago, and he came to know God early in life. He attended Henry H Nash Elementary School and Austin High School. Wayne held many jobs. Wayne moved to Racine Wisconsin in 1987 where he remained for the last 35 years. In 2019, he married Linda Gary. He was very humble, very quiet and always smiling. He loved watching sports. Wayne gave you a strong handshake when greeted. He was always willing to help others.

Wayne leaves behind to forever cherish his memories, his wife, Linda; his son, Lajarvis; his daughter, Brandi; six grandchildren: Jarianna, Paradise, Layla, Andrew, Lajarvis Jr. and Carly; one great grandson, Taykis Jr.; his loving sisters: Dorothy (John) and Frances (Earl) from Memphis Tennessee, Virginia, Laverne (Juan), Pamela (Eddie) and Catrina (Deon); one brother, Steven; two aunts, Claria and Jessie; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Some of Wayne's precious family preceding him in death include his parents, John and Lillie; his three sisters, Katherine Jones, Nina Rhodes and Vernice Rhodes; two nephews, David Williams, Jr. and Melvin Jones; one great nephew, Carlos James.

Services for Wayne will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00AM until the services.
