Service Details
A Celebration of Life will be held for Bill in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 2:00PM with Pastor Holly Anderle officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00PM until the time of service. A private committal with Bill’s family will take place at Lost Lake Cemetery in Stephenson, MI in the spring.
In Bill’s spirit, he would have wanted all to be comfortable, so please dress appropriately, thank you.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Bill’s name to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation.

William H. Willis, age 73, of Racine, formerly of Kenosha and Wakefield, MI earned his eternal rest on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
Bill was born in Wakefield to the late William S. and Lilyan (nee: Lehto) Willis on March 30, 1952. He attended Central Elementary School in Wakefield until 1965 when the family moved to Kenosha. He graduated from Tremper High School in 1971. In 2007, Bill was united in marriage with Bonnie Brown. Bill worked at American Brass for many years and Braeger Auto Dealership until retirement. He continued his love of cars by detailing them for his family and friends. Bill especially enjoyed attending family events, being with his children and grandchildren, with whom he was extremely proud, and spending time at the family cabin in Carney, MI. He will further be remembered for his dry wit, boundless energy and willingness to help others.
Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Stacey (Jared) Baron, and son, Brian Stone; step children, Darrin (Jennifer) Biles and Ashley (Simeon) Onwuzuligbo; grandchildren, Finley, Rowan, Tavijon, Kemari, A’mya, Kellen, Nyla and Kairo; soon to be great grandson; siblings, Donna (Dennis) Ferson, Coleen Heckel and Mark (Cindy) Willis; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and of course, his dog, Chico. Bill will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
