William Chapin Myers, age 78, passed away at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

William was born in South Milwaukee, WI on September 19, 1947 to William Joseph Chapin and Doris (nee: Bowsher) Chapin. Sadly, his dad died shortly after. When he turned 5, Doris married Samuel Myers. Sam became Bill's dad and was eventually adopted by him.

Bill served our Country with the United States Navy from 1967-1970 during the Vietnam War. In 1973, he faithfully began a 45 year career with Liberty Label. On May 26, 1973 he was united in marriage with the love of his life, Barbara Jean (nee: Shufelt).

Outside of work, Bill had quite the music record collection – nearly 4000; was also a movie buff – having acquired countless DVD's over the years; and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his loving wife of nearly 53 years, Barbara; daughter, Leslie Ann Myers; son, Daniel Myers; sister-in-law, Debra (Roger) Mock; brother-in-law, Phillip (Pam) Shufelt; other relatives, work family & friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Joseph Chapin and Samuel & Doris (nee: Bowsher) Myers; sisters, Barbara Ann (Gordon) Mann and Catherine (Jim) Lyons; and brother-in-law, Terry Lee Shufelt.

In accordance with Bill's wishes, the family will celebrate his life privately.
