Obituary

Willie Mae Claybrook, 86, was called Home by her Loving Savior on Friday, September 12, 2025. She was born in Crueger, MS on January 13, 1939, the daughter of the late Jonas and Mae Willie (nee: Booker) Epps.

While living in Mississippi, Mrs. Claybrook received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

On June 6, 1987, she was united in marriage to Charles Monroe Claybrook Sr. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1993. She was a member of the New Brighter Day Baptist Church and served on the Nurses Board under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Thomas.

She was employed by J.I. Case Co. from 1972 until her retirement in 2002.

She was a retiree of UAW Local #180. Mrs. Claybrook enjoyed traveling, playing card games, bingo, visiting friends, and spending time with family.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her Children, Sandra (Elgin) Martin of Saint Paul, MN, Ron Epps of Minneapolis, MN, John (Michelle) Epps of Racine, WI, Kevin Claybrook of Racine, WI, Kasia (Jerold) Wright of Racine, WI, and Sharon (Johnny) Jackson of Atlanta, GA. Three Brothers, James (Jean) Epps of Cruger, MS, Sammie (Kathy) Epps of Tchula, MS, and Robert Epps of Monroe, NC. Five Sisters, Rosie Moore of Racine, WI, Lillian Epps of Laveen, AZ, Mamie (Robert) Holden of Chicago, IL, Annie Mae (L.C.) Granderson of Cruger, MS and Eddie Mae Fondren of Laveen, AZ. Sixteen Grandchildren, Thirty-Six Great Grandchildren, Three Great Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special Cousin/Friend Dorothy "Dot" Jones, and Special Son-In-Law Elgin "Donell" Martin. In addition to her parents, and husband, Mrs. Claybrook was preceded in death by Sons; Tony Epps, Jamal Epps-Claybrook, and Charles Claybrook Jr. Four brothers, Frank Epps, William Epps, J.D. Epps, and Jimmie Epps; One Sister, Lucressia Jordan, and Daughter-in Law, Glenda Epps.

Her Homegoing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at New Brighter Day Baptist Church, 1225 25 th Ave. Kenosha, WI on Friday, October 3 rd with Pastor Joseph Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
