Neil Stuart Broesch

Oct 5, 1931 – Oct 23, 2005

Kenosha – Neil S. Broesch, 74, of Cable, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2005 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Kenosha on October 5, 1931, son of the late John and Doris (nee: Choate) Broesch. On September 12, 1953 in St. George Catholic Church he was united in holy matrimony to the former Joyce Eppers. Joyce preceded him on February 9, 2004. Neil lived most of his life in Kenosha, and retired from Chrysler in 1987. After he retired he devoted his attention full-time to his resort, The Ski-Hi Lodge in Cable, where he loved his hunting and fishing. He was a former member of St. George Catholic Church in Kenosha, and a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Cable. Neil is survived by his five children, Pamela (Don) Webster of Union Grove, Cheri (Jim) Beam of Kenosha, Jacqueline (Steve) Stanfield of Waukesha, Neil J. (Karlene) Broesch of Hartford, and Michelle (Brent) Rush of Eagle. He was the proud grandfather of Joshua (Elizabeth) Beam, Clinton Beam, Penny Gabor, Jonathan Broesch, Kate Broesch, Noah Rush, Emily Rush, Tyler Stanfield, and Bennett Stanfield. Neil is further survived by his brother and sisters, Richard Broesch, Helen Schroeder, Virginia McKeand, June Christiansen, Patsy Bistell; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded by his brothers, Ronald Broesch and Jack Broesch; and sisters Gloria D’Arcy and Doris Techert. A memorial mass for Neil will be held at 5:30 p.m. on October 25, 2005 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2234 30th Avenue, Kenosha, Wisconsin, with Father Peter Cibulskis, MIC officiating. All are invited to visit with the family in the church beginning at 4:30 p.m. Memorials to Hospice Alliance, Inc. have been suggested.
