Todd P. Swanson

Nov 26, 1966 – Feb 3, 2006

TODD P. SWANSON Kenosha Formerly of Sturtevant Todd P. Swanson, 39, died unexpectedly, in Kenosha Memorial Hospital, on Friday, February 3, 2006. He was born in Madison, WI on Nov. 26, 1966, but lived most of his life in the Racine-Sturtevant Area. Todd had been employed by Intermet for over 17 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. But his true love was his family. Surviving are his children Alyssa, Kayla and Tyler, all of Sturtevant; his parents Lawrence Swanson of Kenosha, his mother Joyce Peterson of Racine; his sister Jeryl (Bill) Medlin of Sturtevant, his brother Troy (Sharen) Swanson of Kenosha; and his grandmother Nellie Heieren of Racine, his longtime love, former wife, and mother of his children Lisa Swanson of Sturtevant. Todd is further survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Peder Heieren and Harold Swanson and by his grandmothers Hattie Swanson and Beulah Wood. Todd’s Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, February 7th, at 7;00 p.m., with Rev. John Bodnar officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the Service. Private burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials should be directed to the family who will establish a trust fund at US Bank for Todd’s children.
