Ada Joy Steinmetz, 47, died at her residence, on Monday, September 11, 2006. She was born in Dayton, OH, on November 22, 1958, the daughter of the late Frank and Velma (nee: Friend) Steinmetz. Ada Joy had been employed by Sam’s Club. She was an avid pool player. Surviving are her brothers Frank Steinmetz of Racine and Charles Steinmetz of Dayton, OH; her sisters, Velma Pettry of Racine and Roberta Stamper of Dayton, OH; close fried Jose Ayala and his children Becky and Jose, all of Racine. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Katherine Drummond, brother Daniel Steinmetz, her brother-in-law King Pettry III and her nephew King Pettry IV. Her Memorial Service will be held, in the funeral home on Thursday September 14th, at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Service.
