
Racine – Dale C. Kaske, 71, passed away at Hospice Alliance, Inc. – Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie on Saturday, January 27, 2007. He was born in Wonewoc on June 11, 1935, son of the late Albert and Rosella (nee: Schulenburg) Kaske. He was a 1957 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Business Administration. Dale was united in marriage on June 22, 1957 to Audrey Stittleburg in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wonewoc. Most of his life he has lived in Racine. He was proud to have served our country in the Army Reserve from 1958-1964. Dale retired from the City of Racine in 1998, where he had worked as the administrative manager for the Water and Waste Water Utility. He had also been employed with Walker Manufacturing, Western Publishing, Great Northern Company, and JI Case. He most enjoyed being with Audrey, traveling, cross-country skiing, bird watching, and golfing. Dale was an active member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, where he served as treasurer. He will be dearly missed by his wife of nearly 50 years, Audrey; and by his brother, Donald (Gail) Kaske; nieces and nephew, Kelly Brockmeyer, Kristi (Brian) Sullivan, and Kent Kaske; grand nieces, Baylee and Payton Sullivan; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Agnes Stittleburg, Pearl Phillippi, Mary Dvorak, Ardith (Robert) Hosking, and Gordon (Jeanie) Stittleburg. In addition, he will be greatly missed by Audrey’s nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Willis and LaVera Stittleburg, Maurice Stittleburg, Walter Phillippi, and Adolph Dvorak. In accordance to Dale’s wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2005 in Epiphany Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael D. Zarling officiating. Visitation will begin in the church at 9:30 a.m. Memorials to Epiphany Lutheran Church Endowment Fund have been suggested. Many heartfelt thanks are extended to Dr. Michael Mullane and the staff of All Saints Cancer Center; the special doctors and staff of the Mayo Clinic; and the staff of Hospice Alliance for the loving and compassionate care you all provided to Dale.
