Ana R. Hupp

Sep 13, 1933 – Jul 31, 2007

Mrs. Ana R. Hupp, 73, died at Hospice Alliance – Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. She was born in Cadiz, Spain on September 19, 1933 to the late Filipe and Josepha (nee: Alba) Sanchez. In 1971, she married Michael L. Hupp and moved to Racine. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1986. A woman with a strong faith, she was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and knitting. Her greatest joy, however, came from being in the surroundings of the numerous poodles she raised over the years. Her survivors include her daughter, Millie Psotta of Morrisville, NC; granddaughters, Ana Marie of Raleigh, NC and Brianne of Long Island, NY; sister, Concepcion (Nelson) Griffin of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Juan Sanchez Garcia of Spain and dear friends and caregivers, Carol Mead and Josie Barron both of Racine. Ana was also preceded in death by her brother, Sebastian Sanchez Garcia. The celebration of Ana’s life and funeral mass will be held at St. Edward Catholic Church (15th and Grove Ave.) on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. A private burial will take place next to her husband at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee. There will be a visitation in church on Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. Ana’s family wishes to thank the many people who cared for her during her illness, especially, Hospice Alliance, Community Care, Society Assets, The Senior Companion Program (especially, Sr. Christie), Meals on Wheels and the visitors at St. Edward Church. God bless all of you for your loving care.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

We would like to personally thank Brian for what a warm, compassionate funeral you arranged. You always put our thoughts first and answered and responded to my many phone calls about everything. The artistry of the belongings of our son was amazing. Everything was so beautiful. So many people complimented on how the arrangement was set up by you. We as a family will never forget what you did for us in our time of need. Thank you very much Brian.
