Feb 5, 1927 – Aug 1, 2007

Racine- Florence D. Ortell, 85, passed away in Kenosha at Hospitality Manor on Wednesday, August 1, 2007. A 1939 graduate of St. Catherine’s High School, she went on to attend St. Albertus College of Racine where she earned her teaching certificate. She went on to teach in Kaukauna schools for the next 2 years. On June 22, 1944, she married Amariah Ortell in St. Edward’s Catholic Church He preceded her in death on February 23, 1976. Florence retired from St. Luke’s Hospital in 1987 after serving as head cashier for 17 years. Catholic by faith, she was a member of St. Mary’s by the Lake Catholic Church. Testimonials

October 22, 2015

My husband, Tom, died on Jan. 24, 2015. From that life-changing day and still now, Gary and his sons have been at my side taking care of me, advising me, and guiding me with their sensitive, caring, and efficient expertise. I have heard from friends and family how perfect and wonderful the funeral service was (it was a blur for me), and I have the beautiful obit, memorial booklets, CD rom of slide show, celebration candle, portrait, and even personalized thank you cards to provide memories and comfort during difficult days ahead. My heart is full of thanks and appreciation to Gary Langendorf and his entire family.
