Mary “Kathy” Malin

Mar 28, 1948 – Jan 21, 2008

Racine – Mary “Kathy” Malin, 59, passed away Monday, January 21, 2008 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital with her Husband and Daughter at her side. Kathy was born in Washington D.C. on March 28, 1948, daughter of the late Mary Hall and Claude Goforth. Kathy was also loved dearly by her late stepfather Buenaventura Torres. Kathy spent her younger years in Maryland, however as an adult Kathy lived in Ireland, Southern Louisiana, and finally settled in Racine in 2000. Kathy always called herself a “PPP person”, because of the way she cared for People, Pets and Plants. Kathy consistently placed the needs of other’s before hers, and was loved by all she encountered. Kathy enjoyed traveling with her husband, working in her yard and garden, and was a dedicated homemaker. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Kathy’s loved ones find comfort in the fact that she is on the PATHWAY to ENTERNITY! Kathy is survived by her beloved husband Joseph A. Malin; daughters, Diane Ciccarelli and Sherry Ciccarelli both of Laurel, Maryland. Kathleen O’Hara of Tampa, Florida and Shannon O’Hara-Bailey of Ashland, Kentucky. Son Charles “Chucky” Ciccarelli of Florida. Step children Joseph Adam Malin and Elizabeth Kent Malin of Lafayette, Louisiana. Several grandchildren, including Val Campbell of Tampa, Florida as well as 5 siblings. Kathy is also survived by her darling pet Papillion “Maddie”. Kathy was preceded in death by her son Michael Ciccarelli. In accordance with Kathy’s wishes cremation will take place along with private memorials.

My family picked Draeger , for our Dad, because they did such a wonderful job for my sister and brother in law. I don’t even have the right language skills to tell you how wonderful and compassionate Gary was to our family! He thought of every detail and made it so affordable but yet OUTSTANDING quality! I just can’t say enough about the whole entire process! Thank you Gary! Warren Williams officiated the service and he couldn’t of done a better , more sincere job! Thank you again, Gary! You are superb!
