Adelle Barbara Brouillette

Mar 13, 1920 – Mar 22, 2008

Racine- Mrs. Adelle B. Brouillette, 88, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine on Holy Saturday, March 22, 2008. Adelle was born in Racine on March 13, 1920 to Michael and Stella (nee: Pisarski) Blank and had been a lifelong resident. She married Heber J. Brouillette on September 28, 1940 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Heber preceded her in death in July of 2000. Adelle was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church (formerly Holy Name) and was a member of the Altar Society. She was also a lifelong member of the Apostolate of the Suffering and was a member of ‘Caritas’ St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary. She was especially fond of cats and enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and ceramics and was very interested in collecting things including antiques, jewelry, dolls and figurines. Adelle is survived by a daughter and a son: Renee L. Schuster who lives in Racine and Randall H. (Marion) Brouillette who lives in Victoria, Australia. Her son, Ron R. (Donna) Brouillette, passed away in September 2003. Also surviving are her six grandchildren: Beth of New York and Jamie (Tanya), Kate and Tim (Nicole) Brouillette and Scott (Dora) Schuster and Sharon Schuster all of Racine; and six great-grandchildren: Ben, Jacob, Joey and Josh Brouillette and Briana, Brittany, Joshua and Justin Schuster. Further surviving are many other special relatives and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 11:00 am at St. Richard of Chichester Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Ave., with Rev. Ronald J. Gramza officiating. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be in the church on Friday, April 18th, from 10-11 am.
