Bettylou Miller

Apr 28, 1933 – May 31, 2008

Bettylou Miller, 75, died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, May 31, 2008. She was born in Racine on April 28, 1933 the daughter of the late Carmen and Teresa (nee: Drysdale ) Woodside. Bettylou was a dedicated member of Grace Lutheran Church. She had been employed by Target until her retirement. Bettylou was a longtime breast cancer survivor. Her three greatest loves were her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, her church and talking to cancer patients. Surviving are her children, the twins, Debra (Dan) Baran of Racine, Dennis (Kim) Ballewske of Corsicana Texas, and Kevin (Lori) Ballewske of Racine; 9 grandchildren, Talia (Ricky) Prince, Cassidy Baran, Shainan Baran, Dana Ballewske, Kayla Ballewske Ashley Ballewske, Nadina Ballewske, Trista Ballewske and Tehren Vara; 6 great- grandchildren, Kayleb, Arionna, Angelina, Serenity, Baron, and Amare; her brother Richard (Lori) Woodside of Racine. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her parents, her daughter Cheryl Lynn Ballewske and son John Ballewske preceded her in death. Her funeral service will be held in Grace Lutheran Church, 3700 Washington Ave. on Wednesday, June 4th at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Randal Poppe officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Hwy 32. The family has suggested memorials to Breast Cancer Research or Grace Lutheran Church.

    9 years + later and it still seems like it was yesterday i miss you dearly im still a emotional wreck but i get by. Until the next life i love you
