Thomas A. Neubauer

Racine- Thomas A. Neubauer, 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2010 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Thomas was born in Racine on April 16, 1943 to the late Walter and Exie Lee (nee: Dewar) Neubauer. He faithfully served our Country with the United States Air Force.  On December 10, 1980 he was united in marriage with Janet M. (nee: LeGath) Neubauer, who preceded him in death on March 6, 2008. During his career, Tom was employed by Case; owned / operated Tommy’s Bar for a few years; and was a security officer at All Saints – St. Mary’s Medical Center. Among his interests, Tom loved music and enjoyed singing karaoke. Surviving are his children, Chris (Connie Thomas) LeGath, Nicole Neubauer and Samantha Neubauer; sisters, Brenda (Al) Nigro, Karen (Lance) Nissen, Dinah (Tony) D’Acquisto, Terry (John) Plush and Joanne (Gerry) Hoornstra; extended family, Tiffany Hamm, Emma Tapp, Ashley Schultz, Chris Smith, Danielle Hansen, Carly Trossen, Tom and Nicole Simonsen, and Dennis Hamm; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Tom was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Neubauer; and sister, Patricia Tuinstra. Funeral services will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 9:30 am. Interment, with military honors, will follow in S. WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 8 – 9:30 am.
