He was a longtime member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and the Twin Disc 20 Year Club. Among his interests, Joe enjoyed fishing and bowling. Above all, he was happiest when in the surroundings of his entire family. Surviving are his loving wife of over 42 years, Judy; son, Leon (Amy) Bergemann; special niece, who was like a daughter, Aileen Noll; grandchildren, Casey James Bergemann and Madison Leigh Bergemann; great-nephew and nieces, who were like grandchildren, Brock and Mackenzie Noll; and Yulianna Guevara; sisters, Nancy Pattison and Bernice (Jim) Langer; brothers, William (Ana), Ted (Sandy) and Fran Bergemann; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy (Michael) Mayer, William (Wanda) Noll, Patti Crone and Ellen (Jim) Chappell; special relative, Elaine Gegare; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother and wife, Michael and Jane Bergemann; and brother-in-law, Leo Noll. In accordance with Joe’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial visitation, celebrating Joe’s life, will be hosted in the funeral home on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 6-8 pm.
