Margaret "Pauline" Peters

Feb 28, 1917 – Aug 13, 2009

Racine – Margaret “Pauline” Peters, 92, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Thursday, August 13, 2009. Pauline was born in Creston, Iowa on February 28, 1917 to the late Dale H. and Pearl E. (nee: Lucas) Bunn. On August 21, 1944 she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Marvin A. Peters. They moved to Racine in 1945. With a strong faith in God, Pauline was a proud and devoted member of First Evangelical Free Church. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Ronald Pinkert; granddaughter, Kelli Lee Pinkert, all of Sturtevant; sisters, Barbara Coates and Deanna (Christopher) McLemore; nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, on August 30, 1987; their two infant sons; sister, Ruby (Thadius) Spencer; and brother-in-law, Harry Coates. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of West Lawn Memorial Park, 9000 Washington Ave., on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:00 am with Rev. Ken Howe officiating. Private interment will follow. Family and friends are invited to gather in the cemetery chapel on Saturday beginning at 9:30 am. In memory of Pauline, memorials to First Evangelical Free Church has been suggested. A special note of thanks to the entire staff of Ridgewood Care Center for the compassionate care and support that was extended to our Mom and to our family. May God bless all of you!
