Mary E. Keenan

Mary E. Keenan, 48, passed away in Wheaton Franciscan Medical Center on Friday, September 4, 2009, after a long battle with diabetes. She was born in Racine on October 17, 1960 the daughter of the late Angel and Mary (nee; Hernandez) Reyes. On July 16, 1982, in Mississippi, she was united in marriage to Dennis R. Keenan. Surviving are her husband Dennis; her children, Roberto (Hollie) Reyes, Michael Keenan, and Daniel Keenan, all of Racine; 6 grandchildren; 5 brothers, Sam Reyes, John Reyes, Onobre Reyes all of Racine, Raymond Reyes of East Troy, and Ruben Layton of Racine; 4 sisters, Elena Wright, Nancy Reyes, Carmen Reyes, and Eva (Antonio) Zagal all of Racine; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law David (Katharine) Keenan of Racine, Kathleen (Richard) Lane Sr. in Florida, and Barbara (Melvin) Jarrell of Dexter, MO. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her parents; Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Angelita Reyes, Sara Montes and brothers, Julio and Domingo Reyes. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, September 10th, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ronald J. Gramza officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
