With a profound Christian faith, Cheryl had been a member of many local churches, most recently with Trinity United Methodist.

Surviving are husband, Oscar Walker, Jr.; sister, Bridgette (Henry) White; brothers and sisters, Lester, Debra, Angela and Jimmy; brother-in-law, Forest Walker and sister-in-law, Clarene Miller; aunt, Sharon Flowers; uncles, Eugene Johnson and Timothy Dumas; nieces, Amore, Anais, Aviana, Acharia, Amariah, Savannah, Johnisha, Edwina, Romara (Tawasha), Kassya, Kaviondra, Nariahsia, Keria and Stephenie; nephews, David, Ralph, Johnquel, Charles, Dontrell, Adrial (Ruth), Quadell and Ramon; special friends, Francere, Alice, Sharon, Aldrenna, Debra and Liz; and a host of cousins, other dear relatives and friends too numerous to mention all by name. In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts and uncles.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-11 am.
