Jacqueline Sue Reed

Oct 7, 1959 – Feb 19, 2013

Jacqueline Sue Reed, age 53, answered God’s call into eternal life on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.  Jacqueline was born on October 7, 1959 to the union of Clifton and Luella (Nee: Johnson) Reed.  After graduating from High School, Jacqueline pursued and received her associate’s degree in accounting, which allowed her to be self-employed. Along with using her accounting skills, she worked for a home health care company and Westview nursing home. Among her interest were cleaning, shopping, listening to music and she loved to cook and entertain her family and friends.   Jacqueline became a member of Dominion Church of God M.P.G.T, under the leadership of Bishop Kelvin P. Weatherspoon.  God blessed her with many gifts and talents, the greatest of these was nurturing God’s children.  Jacqueline loved working with children, she established the children’s choir at Dominion and her dedication to the ministry was evident by her willingness to always assist anyone in any way that she could, as long as her health allowed. Left to cherish her loving memories are; her mother, Luella Reed-Wainwright; her father Clifton Reed; daughter, Angelica Reed; sons, Clifford Antwon Reed and Garmin D. Lawson; six grandchildren, Mariah, Deja, Amaya Lawson, Keyion Westmoreland, Janiah Reed, Amriel Goodwin; sisters, Irma J.(Danny) King, Debra D. (Bishop Kelvin) Weatherspoon, Trina L. Reed, Shalby Reed; brothers-in law, William Berryman, Ozell Taylor, and host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Clifton Reed Jr. and her sister, Sheila K. (Nee: Johnson) Taylor.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Her homegoing celebration will start at 11am, visitation 10-11am on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Dominion Church of God MPGT,402 9th St. Bishop Kelvin P. Weatherspoon will be officiating.
