Ana Lilia Guerrero

Oct 16, 1956 – Nov 6, 2013

Racine – Ana Lilia Guerrero, 57, received the promise of eternal life on Wednesday, November 6, 2013.  She was born in Mexico on October 16, 1956, daughter of Mariano and Armandina (nee: Almaguer) Jaramillo.

Lilia was united in marriage to the love of her life, Fernando J. Guerrero Sr., on December 23, 1978.

Ana Lilia was a member of Cristo Rey Parish.  Ana Lilia enjoyed taking shopping trips, traveling with her family, crocheting, and watching her novelas. She also loved to attend all events that her grandkids were involved in. She loved cooking for her family as much as they loved her cooking.  Ana treasured her family and loved spoiling her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed.

Ana leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of almost 35 years, Fernando J. Guerrero, Sr. of Racine; Children: Ana J. (Fidel Espinoza) Guerrero of Racine, Patricia (Edgar, Sr.) Cantù of Beach Park, IL, Fernando J. (Sarah Dillon) Guerrero, Jr. of Racine, and Gabriela P. (Mateo Jenkins) Guerrero of Greenfield, WI. Grandchildren: Santiago, Roman A., Antonio K., Marissa L. and Emilio J. Espinoza, Tatiana and Edgar Cantù, Jr., Janessa J. Jenkins, Nevaeh Guerrero, Jayna & Nicholas Dillon; Father Mariano Jaramillo of San Antonio; siblings, Maria (Jose) Martinez of Racine, Guadalupe (Pedro) Saucedo of San Antonio, TX, Francisco (Nora) Jaramillo of Franksville, WI; Martha, Rosa Esther, Mario (Rosa) and Irma Jaramillo, all of San Antonio, TX; Special friend Ramona Michel; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.

Ana is preceded in death by her mother, Armandina Jaramillo; and brother-in-law, Raul D. Guerrero, Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, 11:00am, at Cristo Rey Parish, 800 Wisconsin Avenue, with Rev. Antony Thomas officiating.  Visitation will be on Monday, November 11, 2013, 4pm to 7pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road.  There will be a prayer service at 7pm with Deacon Roberto Fuentes officiating.  Visitation will continue at the church on Tuesday at 10:00am.  Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.

Special thanks to all medical staff involved in providing care of our beloved wife and mother.

Testimonials

Joan Schrader and family

We want to thank Mike for the kindness and special attention he gave us for our mother. Marcella Conley. He came in the middle of the night himself to pick her up and take her to the funeral home. For the things that had to be taken care of, he told us not to worry; that it would be taken care of by him. Thank you also Mike for singing at her funeral, especially her favorite song, Amazing Grace. Thank you and all of your staff at Draeger-Langendorf.
