Charlene (nee: Walls) Fatheree, age 55, quietly entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Charlene was born January 24, 1959 in Water Valley, Mississippi to the union of Lena P. and William H. Walls Sr. She confessed a hope in Christ and was a member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Charlene met and fell in love with David Fatheree 28 years ago and were united in marriage on May 13, 2009.
Charlene was educated in the Racine Public School System. She was a well liked and dedicated employee at Reliance Control Corporation in Racine, WI where she was employed for many years until her health failed her. Charlene will most be remember for her great grilling skills, working puzzles, dancing to her favorite songs, and her fly bangs (hair style).
Charlene is preceded in death by her father William Walls Sr.; one sister, Benie Faye Walls; two brothers, George Kelly Pearson and William Walls Jr.; two brothers-in-law, James Pipkins and Dennis Fatheree. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband David Fatheree; her mother, Lena P. Evans; four children, Chantile (Steve) Hamm, William (Helena) White, James (Kelly) White and Kishia (Barry) White; two stepsons, David Fatheree Jr. and Anthony Cannon; four brothers, Earvin (Linda) Walls, Leon (Anna) Walls, Darryal (Linda) Walls and Bobby (Lisa) Walls; one sister-in-law, Amy McGee; 13 grandchildren, Jamesha, Vaquoia, Xavier, Ryunique, James, Damarion, Takiera, Charles, Ariana, Sabastian, Gabrielle, Dayjah and Jaydah; niece, Vicky Mahdi; special friends, Pamela White and Amy McGee; and a host of many, many relatives and friends.
A Homegoing Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 11:00 am in Greater Mount Eagle Missionary Baptist Church, 929 State Street, with Rev. Keith T. Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Viewing will be in the church on Tuesday from 10-11 am.
