
~~Sandra Fay Brandon, who was affectionately called “Lady” by many, age 39, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2013 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Hospital. Lady was born on April 2, 1974 to James and Annie Fay (nee: Strong) Nesbitt in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Lady accepted the Lord at an early age. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana. Sandra loved running, cooking and shopping but the most important part of her life was the precious time she spent taking care of and being with her family. Sandra worked in retail until her health began to fail.
Lady’s contagious smile will be dearly missed by her children; Jarneisha T. (Lloyd) McMillian, Jarneika R. McMillian, Jarvis L. McMillian Jr., Jason K. Brandon, grandchildren; Keondre, Masiah, Tramelle, Michael Jr., Ma’Laysia, Da’Mya, and A’Niya, her mother; Annie Faye Nesbitt, father; James MackArthur Nesbitt, sisters; Christina Brandon, Markeva Turner, Cassandra Davis, brother; Lee Weller. Lady was preceded in death by her grandmother; Hazel Alexander, grandfathers; James H. Nesbit and Jimmy Lee Strong, brother; Sheron Davis, great aunt Amblee Harris, great uncle; Roosevelt Harris.
A Celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on Monday, Feb 17th at Jesus Alive Ministries (JAM), located inside of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 3011 Erie St. Funeral will begin at 11am with Pastor Randy Cameron officiating. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.

I just wanted to say to Ms Sandra u wanted us to get out and have us a drink together but u moved out of town to reunite with our father in heaven not mad just have to have that drink in heaven when it’s my time to reunite with my father. U will truly be missed my prayers to the family.
