Harry Michael Bouie

Dec 20, 1965 – Mar 16, 2015

KENOSHA (Formerly of Racine) – Michael Bouie, 49, fell asleep in death on Monday, March 16, 2015.  He had battled various health issues over the past eight years.

Harry Michael Bouie was born to Robert E. Bouie Sr. and Roberta (Dixon) Bouie on December 20, 1965 in Osceola, AR.  His maternal and paternal grandparents preceded him in death.

Michael demonstrated his love for Jehovah God by dedicating his life by water baptism on June 18, 2011.  Even though his speech was limited his message was clear.  He never missed an opportunity to share the good news of God’s Kingdom and the promise of a paradise earth with everyone he met.  Michael would hand them a Bible tract and ask them to read it to him and then tell them to keep the tract. Michael looked forward to God’s promise at Isaiah 33:24 “No resident will say: I am sick.”

Michael loved his family, eating, sports, playing dominos and cards. He is especially known for telling jokes.  When Michael is resurrected back to life on a paradise earth, you can be sure that he will tease and joke with many of us and say he is surprised to see us there.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons: Michael Bouie, Jr. (Deloris) of Austin, TX; Terrell Bouie of Houston, TX; his father, Robert Bouie Sr. and mother, Roberta Bouie; six sisters and three brothers: Esther Bouie of Memphis, TN; Ethel (Keith) Pope of Portsmouth, VA; Robert Bouie, Jr. of Racine, WI; John (Allison) Bouie of Racine, WI; Kevin Bouie of Kenosha, WI; Pamela (William) Lowrey of Kenosha, WI; Patricia (Robert) Borger of Fort Wayne, IN; Elizabeth (Nathan) Conver of Kenosha, WI; Zendre’ (Bryan) Hicks of Racine, WI. He is also survived by three granddaughters and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to meet at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (1600 North Summerset Drive, across from Roma Lodge) on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. for a memorial service.  There will be time to meet with his family from 3-4 p.m.

Testimonials

October 9, 2020

I would like to thank Mike Langendorf, Bill Althaus and the rest of the staff for the wonderful celebration of the life for my father Raymond L. Szymanski who was a WWII veteran. I especially appreciate how much you really listen and the questions you asked regarding who my father was and what he was all about. Those details showed up in every part of the service from the flowers, the music, the thank you’s, pictures, obituary, outdoor military honors, etc. etc. My father would have been so grateful for the way you honored his life. I also received phone calls from family and friends indicating how beautiful the service was in every way. You and your staff definitely go above and beyond. You treat everyone like family and your compassion is so genuine. There should be more people in the world just like all of you. No words can express our gratitude for all you have done for myself, my father and our family. Thank you so very much and may the Lord bless you and yours! Sincerely Terri Carls and the Szymanski Family
