On September 7, 1946 she married James B. Wilson.  He preceded her in death on July 16, 1982.   Nine years later she married Donald G. Wilson on December 13, 1991.  He preceded her in death on July 3, 2015.

Mrs. Wilson was a longtime member of Atonement Lutheran Church.  She cherished her time and memories with family at Shalimar in the north woods.  Mrs. Wilson was happiest, however, when she was in the presence of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Claudia (John) Berges of Rolla, MO, Judith (Charles) Jones of Madison, Katherine (Jay) Pieper of Shawano, James (Kristin) Wilson of Racine; her step-children, Nancy (Gary) Schlei of Madison, Larry (Mary) Wilson of Caledonia, Donald (Sally) Wilson of Franksville, Paul (Julie) Wilson of Colorado, Margie (Chuck) Schaus of Florida, Jane (Mark) Goessl of Waterford, Elizabeth Boyd of Two Rivers, WI, Andrew (Tracy) Wilson of Colorado, David (Debbie) Wilson of Milwaukee, Steve (Marimae) Wilson of Racine; 30 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, whom she adored; her sister, June (Fred) Sewell of Racine as well as many dear nieces and nephews.   She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Donna (Bill) Heffel and her sisters, Judy Loehner and Dorothy Hart.

Family and friends are invited to meet to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 3-4 pm for a visitation and time to meet with her family.  A service celebrating her life will follow at 4:00 pm with Chaplain Howard Edwards officiating.  Her interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.  Those wishing to attend should meet at gate.   In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Alliance for Lupus Research (28 W 44th St #501, New York, NY 10036 – Lupusresearch.org)

A very heartfelt thank you is extended to Primrose Retirement Community and Hospice Advantage for the loving attention and care they provided to Beverly.

Testimonials

Last warm-hearted care of our mother

Words cannot even begin to express the tremendous gratitude our family has for a team like the one at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory. Thank you for the gentle lovely care over our mother Delia (Rosa) Balderas. Never having had a direct experience with a funeral home to this extent we didnt know what to expect. We didnt have a clue that they would step right in and have the most comforting team surrounding us that thought of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for anyone in our position. It was very evident from the first discussion on the phone that they were already well prepared to handle every little detail for us that we weren’t even aware would be required. Mark and his team truly eased so much of the unknown worries right out of our path, and left room for us to just focus on the small personal details we wanted for our mom. It was nice to know that all cost involved was in black and white on their site as well as on paper at our first meeting. Leaving no room for question or doubt what so ever with any fee involved. It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didnt stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.
