Andre Crosby

Apr 27, 1955 – Dec 10, 2016

Andre Crosby Sr., 61, died peacefully at his residence on Saturday, December 10, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Robbins, IL, on April 27, 1955 the son of the Otis and Ora Lee (Nee: Ramsey) Crosby.

Mr. Crosby had been employed by Big O and Sons Construction Co. He enjoyed building all kinds of things, working with his hands, and fishing.

Surviving are his children, Andrea Johnson, Shelia Crosby, both of Racine, Andre Crosby Jr., of Champlin, MN, Otis Leroy Crosby, of Anoka, MN, Selena Crosby, Anna Moore, Brittany Moore, Andriana Crosby, and Antonia Crosby, all of Minneapolis, MN; 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; mother, Ora Lee Crosby, in FL; siblings, Wilmet ( Conoco) McDonald, in Mississippi, LaShawn “Cookie” (Jay) Cardell ,in MN, Jewan Crosby, of Harvey, IL, Dewan Crosby, in MN, Manell Crosby, Tanya Crosby both in FL, and Otis (Susan) Crosby Jr., in Robbins, IL; life partner and companion, Tonia Grandy. Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by his father, Otis Crosby Sr. and his wife, Sheila Crosby.

A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 21st at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends can meet with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
