Marcell David “Nu Nu” Brice, age 23 passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.  He was born on September 22, 1993 to Nicole Rene Brice and David Staples in Chicago, IL.

Marcell attended Mahone Middle School and Reuther Central High.  In 2013 he enlisted into the US Navy.  He was currently enrolled at UW Waukesha majoring in Math and Computer Science.  He hoped to someday become a Mathematician and develop his own Video Game. He would have received his degree within a year.

He was currently employed by Olive Garden as a Waiter/Server.  His first employer was Scoops Ice Cream Parlor under the supervision of Jennifer Heim. During his five years there he worked his way up from cashier to Assistant Manager. Even after enlisting into the Navy, on breaks he would always find his way back to Scoops Ice Cream Parlor and work while home.

“NuNu” had a smile that would brighten up the room. He enjoyed video games and he so loved being the “FUN” uncle to his nieces and nephews. As well as joking around with family and friends. He enjoyed working out and was a very bright young man, who could solve math problems without even blinking.

Marcell “NuNu” David Brice leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Nicole Brice; five brothers, Marshaun Brice, Andre (Paula) McWay, Cassius (Ashley) Carter Jr., Christopher Carter, Aavery (LaLa) Brice; his grandparents, Albert Brice Jr. and Maxine Chavours;  eight aunties, Beverly “Aunt Nea” Brice, Dewona (Alex) Brice-Coleman, Lanita Brice Knight, Shannon (Chris) Broadnax-Dorsey, Angela (Chuck) Bolding, Bertha Brice and Mary (James) Bryant and his special aunt, Marlo Jett; three uncles, Adrian Coleman, Anthony (Christina) Brice and Aaron Brice; three nieces, Amari, Cassiah and Aa’marie; five nephews, Koby, Cassius III, Andre III, Christian and Cameron; his Best friends Paris Turner and Danny Fansler, his Mentor and close friend, Jenifer Ferrell Heim as well as a host of cousins, family and friends.  Marcel was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brittie Lee Brice and his cousin Kaela Coleman.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017, 11:00am in the Chapel of Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home from 10:00am until the time of service.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

We want to thank Mike for the kindness and special attention he gave us for our mother. Marcella Conley. He came in the middle of the night himself to pick her up and take her to the funeral home. For the things that had to be taken care of, he told us not to worry; that it would be taken care of by him. Thank you also Mike for singing at her funeral, especially her favorite song, Amazing Grace. Thank you and all of your staff at Draeger-Langendorf.
