Pauline Marie Gibson

Aug 7, 1943 – Mar 12, 2017

Service Details

A celebration of life will be held in Bruce Wisconsin later this spring. She will be interred in the Bruce Catholic Cemetery alongside her parents.

RACINE – Pauline Marie Gibson passed away peacefully on March 12, 2017 in Racine at Ridgewood Care Center. She was 73 years old.  She was a resident of Racine for 56 years.  She worked for J.I. Case from 1961 until her retirement in 2001, starting as a keypunch operator and ending her career as a supervisor running mainframe computers.

She was born in Ladysmith, WI and grew up in Bruce, WI where she attended Elementary and High School. She continued her education at Racine Technical College.  Growing up she enjoyed all of her cousins and aunts and uncles who lived on farms and in towns throughout the Blue Hills area of northern Wisconsin. Summers were spent swimming in the Chippewa River and winter ice-skating on the pond in the woods. After retirement, Pauline enjoyed her leisure time reading, doing genealogy, and watching her favorite TV programs.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, George Gibson and Frances Gibson Miller (nee Schmitz). Pauline is survived by her long-time companion, A.C. Allen; (Racine) siblings; Mary Gibson (San Diego), Bob Gibson (Racine), Vera Gibson Anderson (Racine), and Jim Gibson (Sacramento); three nieces: Anne Gibson, Lori Bruno, and Jennifer Lingard; and five grandnephews and nieces.

A celebration of life will be held in Bruce Wisconsin later this spring. She will be interred in the Bruce Catholic Cemetery alongside her parents.

Testimonials

Thank you for your attention to detail

Thank you so much for your staff’s gentle, patient, and thorough management of my nephew’s memorial service yesterday. It was run to perfection, and we couldn’t be more pleased. From the beautiful slide show transitions to the quality audio system to the easels, pedestals and Kringle…all details were impeccable and appreciated.
