Carolyn and I were great friends. Growing up on the Southside of Racine caused us to have a closeness that remained throughout our adult lives. As teens we had fun at Park High School, attending sports events, and eating at the A&W. When I retired to Arizona, I would contact her to meet up with me, at Mexico Lindo, just to reconnect over good Mexican food. We had an outstanding time at our Park Class Reunions, especially the 50th. in 2016. We had been friends since I moved to Racine in 1962. She will always be remembered as a kind, gentle, and generous friend. Rest in peace.
