Racine – Marc C. Baldukas, 61, received the promise of eternal life on Friday, October 13, 2017.  He was born in Racine on September 28, 1956, son of Chris and Lenora (nee: Penzkowski) Baldukas.

Marc is a graduate of Park High School and the University of Wisconsin – Madison.  He was an avid Badgers, Brewers, and Packers fan.  Marc was a Finished Goods Supply Planner for S.C. Johnson Wax.  He also loved being his own stock broker.  Marc had good “money sense” and never paid any financial advisors for any of his portfolios.  He had a tremendous dry sense of humor and was known for his ability to tell a good story.  Marc volunteered as a big brother for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters in the area.  He loved to play golf, especially with his nephews whom he loved very much.  Marc was an active member of St. Lucy Catholic Church and was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church when he was younger.

Marc leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Lenora Baldukas; sisters, Cynthia (James) Loumos, Kimberly (John) Heinisch; brothers, Gregory Baldukas, Robert Baldukas; nephews, Alexander Loumos, Gregory Loumos, Chris Loumos, Callan Heinisch, Ryne (Skaidra Pliura) Baldukas, Austin Baldukas, Forrest Baldukas, Noah Baldukas, Parker Baldukas; great-nephew, Kovas Baldukas; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.

Marc is preceded in death by his father, Chris N. Baldukas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 20, 2017, 10:30am, at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Avenue, with Rev. Javier Guativa officiating.  Visitation will be from 9:00am until the time of the service.  Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.  The family has suggested memorials to Hospice Alliance or The American Cancer Society.

The family would like to extend a heart-felt “Thank You” to the staff at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie as well as Sandra Herrera from S.C. Johnson Wax for all that they did for Marc during this difficult time.

Marc became a friend at work. We talked frequently always more about me than him. After knowing him a very short time he came to me one day with two books from his collection. He told me he really thought I would like these books and that they fit me. This really touched me to think that he went out of his way to understand who I really was and what I cared about. So glad you are free from the pain and suffering – Rest in peace my friend. Jim Smith

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

I would like to thank Bob and the entire staff for helping me through a very difficult situation. Having lost my mother and having to plan her services was very hard but Bob helped me every step of the way. And the service was beautiful. Thanks again for everything.
