He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Dorothy Pellegrino of Mount Pleasant; children, Sandra (Dr. Gregory) Sobczak of Middleton, WI, Glen (Leslie) Pellegrino, Jr. of Newark, DE, Gregg Pellegrino of Racine; grandchildren, Gabriel and Peter Sobczak, Taylor and Brittany Pellegrino, Nicole Pellegrino; sisters, Connie Klofonda of New Mexico, Lyn Solfest of Virginia; brother-in-law, David (Kris Setlock) Kintzler; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Poelman, Elaine Kintzler, Janet Kintzler; nieces, nephews, and other relatives too numerous to mention.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his in-laws, Emery and Viola Kintzler; brothers-in-law, Leo Rognsvoog, James Klofonda, Harry Kintzler, Burt Kintzler, Herman “Bud” Poelman; sister-in-law, Carol Braun; nephews, Clifford Rognsvoog and George Braun.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017, 2:00pm until 4:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road.  A memorial celebration of Glenn’s life will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017, 11:00am at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 728 Villa St, with Rev. John D. Roekle officiating.  Visitation on Monday will be from 10:00am until the time of the service.  Interment with full military honors will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heart-felt “Thank You” to Dr. James Gierahn for the many years of excellent and professional care.  Also, “Thank You” to the staff of The Bay at Burlington for their compassionate and exemplary care given to Glenn and his family.

So sorry to hear about your husband’s passing, but you are left with such cherished memories.

I remember Glenn telling me about his days in Korea as a tanker and how he’d chew cigars. That was very different from the times he’d ride his bike across Iowa and tell me how to eat healthy how much he worked in the gym. He was fun to golf with, his swing reminded me of someone chopping wood. I had a review and my boss told me nobody liked me and I started hugging my coworkers. Glenn was the only one that he liked that and if felt good. I’ll always remember his sage advice. I have only good memories of Glenn. Dorothy, you and your family are in my prayers.
