Funeral 12  O’clock Noon Thursday at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home

Visitation in the funeral home from 11;00 a.m. until the service time

Burial with full military honors will follow in Graceland Cemetery

James R. Conner, 73, passed away in the Aurora Medical Center- Kenosha Campus on Sunday, January 14, 2018. He was born in Racine on November 19, 1944, the son of the late Victor and Myrtle (nee: Petersen) Conner.

Jim graduated from Washington Park High School. He served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Jim had been employed by Greene Manufacturing for over 25 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and professional wrestling.

Surviving is his devoted wife, of over 30 years, Beth L. Conner (nee: Jacobsen). He is further survived by cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by his faithful companion, Peanut.

His funeral service will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, at 12 O’clock Noon, on Thursday, January 18, 2018, with Rev. Dr. Warren Williams officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Graceland Cemetery. In his memory, Beth has suggested memorials to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
