    Hey Mitch,
We grew up together in the same neighborhood. Went to Winslow school at the same time. You had a crush on me but all it was was a school guy crush. Many days we would walk the same route to school. You gave me my 1st Cracker Jack box ring. You used to tease and joke with me. Childhood, harmless memories. We lived off 12th street n Schiller and I remember your family living across the train tracks down from Bobs corner mart. Anyway, it’s been many years but I still have fond memories of your gentlemanly ways. I have the same name as your sister Olivia. You pretty much look the same in the picture that I remember from Winslow. Anyway, the Lord called you home and hopefully someday we’ll meet again. My prayers to your family and it was nice to have met you.

Testimonials

October 9, 2020

I would like to thank Mike Langendorf, Bill Althaus and the rest of the staff for the wonderful celebration of the life for my father Raymond L. Szymanski who was a WWII veteran. I especially appreciate how much you really listen and the questions you asked regarding who my father was and what he was all about. Those details showed up in every part of the service from the flowers, the music, the thank you’s, pictures, obituary, outdoor military honors, etc. etc. My father would have been so grateful for the way you honored his life. I also received phone calls from family and friends indicating how beautiful the service was in every way. You and your staff definitely go above and beyond. You treat everyone like family and your compassion is so genuine. There should be more people in the world just like all of you. No words can express our gratitude for all you have done for myself, my father and our family. Thank you so very much and may the Lord bless you and yours! Sincerely Terri Carls and the Szymanski Family

Theresa Lynn Carls
