Family held a private service for Eddie Sr.

Racine – Eddie Lee Turner Sr. was born on December 2, 1962 to Louise Turner Lewis and the late Roy Lee Turner Sr. in Boyle, MS. He was the fourth oldest of six boys.

Eddie Lee Turner Sr. received his formal education at Coliss High School. He futhered his education at Kennedy King College majoring in Business and Management. He accepted Christ as his Savior at Greater Canaan Baptist Church located in Chicago, Illinois at an early age. He was united with Grace Temple Baptist Church in Racine, Wisconsin.

Eddie Lee Turner Sr. was united in holy matrimony with Deborah Ann Clemon on January 25, 2001 in Racine Wisconsin. Their union was blessed with 5 children and 4 step children. He was employed with McDonalds for many years until he retired. He enjoyed being a family man, having parties, playing pool and shooting darts with family and friends. He enjoyed playing dominos, cards, video games, as he was the  DOC in shooting dices. He enjoyed watching church sermons by Joyce Meyers and Pastor T.D Jakes. His favorite tv shows were Law and Order SVU, Criminal Minds, Family Feud and Blue Bloods. He was a true die heart Chicago Bears and Bulls fan. His favorite color was black and he loved listening to music.

Eddie Lee Turner Sr. departed life June 18, 2019 at 12:32 AM. He was proceded in death by his father Roy Lee Turner Sr., brothers Roy Lee Turner Jr., Alexander Clerk, grandparents Willie Mae Clerk, L.T. Clerk, step child Purnell Clemon along with host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Mother Louise Turner Lewis, Stepdad Billy Lewis, Wife Deborah Turner, Children Jennifer Clemon (Emery, Erynn), Eddie Turner Jr., Alicia Turner (Shanavia, Arieana, Lamariana), Cozette Turner (Bear), Tomeka Turner, Lady (pitbull) Patrick Clemon (Justice, Juri) Patrick Jr., Nakyah, Neonti, Nadia) Pamela Hall (Jonathan, Jaqueveon, Kairi) Purnell Clemon (deceased) Patricia Clemon (Kentajah, Debrayana) Brothers Herman Clerk (Katrina), Alexander Clerk (deceased), Roy Turner Jr. (deceased), Barry Turner (Tina), Darryl Turner, Davon Turner, Jeffrey Turner Sisters Barbara, Paula Roberts, Joretha, Alaina Turner, and Angel Turner along with host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.

In keeping with his wishes, his family held a private service to Celebrate His Life.

He coordinated seamlessly with the cemetery staff, ensuring a smooth transition from the funeral home to the final resting place. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence truly made a difference in our overall experience.

In addition to their exceptional service, the funeral home also provided us with resources and support beyond the funeral itself. They offered grief counseling services and connected us with local support groups, which proved to be invaluable during our grieving process.

Overall, we cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Mark and broader Draeger Langendorf team. Their attention to detail, commitment to our safety, and genuine compassion made a difficult time a little more bearable. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of funeral arrangements, as they truly go above and beyond to ensure that every detail is taken care of and that families are supported throughout the entire process.
