Robert G. Rashleger Sr., 92, passed away at Parkview Gardens Memory Care, on  Tuesday, October 29, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Green Bay, WI on June 16, 1927, the son of the late George and Nettie (nee: Bacon) Rashleger.

Mr. Rashleger enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, archery, playing shuffleboard, and our summer retreat in Red Granite, WI. He also enjoyed his fishing trips to Lake Kabetogama in Minnesota. His greatest enjoyment came from being with family and friends. He was known for his sense of humor and quick wittiness.

The family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the Community Care office, Ascension Hospice, ADRC of Racine, and all of Bob’s angels at Parkview Gardens.

    Dear Rashleger family,
I didn’t know Bob for long but he always called me his girlfriend. One day I was walking in the hall and he asked me what I was doing Friday night, I said nothing. He said oh good I’m taking you out to dinner and then a movie we can have all the popcorn and soda we want, but you will have to drive he said. He was such a kidder always asking me do I need a shave, and always told me that I was such a sweetheart for helping him. R.I.P. Bob, I am know longer at Parkview but he was one of my favorite residents. See you again some day. My condolences to you all.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

It has been a long while in business since I have experienced and witnessed someone be truly great at what they do. That was my experience with Mike and team. Above and beyond hardly encompasses their professionalism and compassion during our family’s bereavement.

Thank you most sincerely,
Jason C.
