A Homegoing Celebration will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11:00 am. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Friday from 9:30-11:00 am.
Racine – Christopher LaMartin Anderson, Sr., age 46, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 29, 2020.
Christopher was born in Racine on February 4, 1974 to Andrew D. Anderson and Ida Jean (Hunt) Anderson. He was a graduate of William Horlick High School. Christopher was employed by Summit Packaging. A man with great fashion, he had an extensive collection of sharp clothing and classic hats. He enjoyed shooting pool & darts and had an appreciation for various types of music. Above all, Christopher loved spending time with his entire family and friends.
Christopher is survived by his mother, Ida Jean Anderson; 12 children, Chris Anderson Jr., Karina Booker, Armani Dukes, Jaliyah Kidd, Daisha Carodine, Cordae Wilson, Syriah Goines, Christopher Anderson, LaMarion Blair, Damario Hawkins, Damiah Hawkins & Dakaila Hawkins; grandchildren, Kameron Anderson, Samir DeFreitas, Zuri Anderson, Zaida Anderson, A’Zariah Ford, Journi Turner & Jermani Turner; brothers, Andrew (Sherrie) Anderson & Benjamine Anderson; special nephew, Jerome Phillips; close cousin, Marlon Anderson; sister cousins, Bridget Sullivan & Stephanie Sullivan; faithful friends, Bernard Edwards Jr., Donald Jackson, Demetreus Green, Jesus Alvarez, Tavares Harris, Adam Gardner, Dedrick Flowers Sr. & Eddie Evans; and a host of many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Andrew D. Anderson; grandparents, Floyd & Sabina Hunt and Albert & Laura Anderson; brother, Michael Hunt; aunties, Nettie B. Hunter, Annie Ruth Green & Rosemary Glover; and sister cousin, Regina Hawkins.
