Her Homegoing service will be held in the L. King Funeral Chapels in Belleville, IL, 1-618-397-5636.

Lady Ann L. Mack was called Home by her loving Savior, after completing her earthly journey, on Thursday, December 10, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Vance, MS the daughter of the late Jesse and Alice (nee: Alford) Faulkner.

Lady Ann received her education in Vance Mississippi Educational System. She spent over 70 years in the ministry and was the former Pastor of Lively Stone Church in Mt. Vernon, IL.

Surviving are three daughters, Queen (Reginald) Starks-Adams, Joyce (Lemuel) Starks-Moore, all of St. Louis, MO, and Lisa (H. Kennedy) Miller, of Racine, WI; her foster daughter Tina (Anthony) Pettiford, of O’Fallon, IL; foster son, Malcom Deloach, 19 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Bradley, of Mt. Vernon, IL, brother, Ray Jones, of Poplar Bluff, MO; god sons, Allen (Iris) Rudd, of Mt. Vernon, IL, and Claude Kirkwood, of _______ god daughter, Jessie Huggins, god sisters, Lillie Robinson, of Chicago, IL, Alice Moore, of Mt. Vernon, IL, and Emma Kirkwood, od Centralia, IL, god brother, Ray Jones, of Poplar Bluff, MO. Lady Ann is also survived by many spiritual sons and daughters, and was “grandmother” to many.

In addition to, her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Elder George Starks Jr.,  and Minister Joseph Mack; by the aunt and uncle who raised her, Rebecca and Jordan Jones, foster son, Fredrick Deloach; and brother, Jordan (Jerry) Jones, and by three grandchildren.

    Rest in Heaven Mother Ann Mack, your wisdom and teachings of the Mt. Vernon Community, will follow us all the days of our life, I speak for many of us growing up with you in our mist. you are loved beyond measure. the most wonderful, sweetest person, and the same, everytime we crossed paths. you were the most beautiful soul in our community. rest in gods arms. please reach out to all of our love ones, that have gone on before us, and tell them and continue to minister to them. I relish the day that we can all be together again, please hold my Mama’s hand and my dear sister Cassandra, let them know how much I miss them. until we see each other again. Mrs Carol Disroe Downey and the entire Disroe family.
