Garry Jerome Price, 36, was called home January 25, 2023. He was born in Racine, WI on June 23, 1986 to Larry Cannon and Jaqueline Price.

Garry was a self-acclaimed foodie with an adventurous flare for life. He walked each day with an open heart and mind pouring love for everyone put in his path. Children were the biggest joy of his life. You could often find him throwing a ball, making TikTok’s or building Legos with the children in his life. Garry had a thirst for history, which included watching documentaries and reading historical literature. He enjoyed deep conversation and recognized opportunities to engage with people and share life experiences. He spent a lot of time on community basketball courts and played football in his youth. While he didn’t have a favorite team, he did follow his favorite players, particularly Tom Brady. Garry’s passion for music was undeniable. Music was his love language, and he was rarely seen without his ear buds.

Garry will be dearly missed by: his wife Danielle and their blended family, Victoria (Dylan), Jade (Xavier), Jaden, Meraisha and Paisley; his mother Jackie Price; his grandchildren Ryker, Ophelia, and Anayeli; and his siblings Christylanium McKeever, Tanya Price, Marlowe Webb, Paul (Monique) Price and Angela Price. Special Cousin Annette Smith and a large extended family and many friends.

Garry is preceded in death by his father Larry Cannon, his nieces Tashia and Dmiya, and his nephew Deveon.

A Memorial Service celebrating Garry’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 4:00PM. Visitation for Garry will be in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:00PM until the time of service.

Testimonials

Thank you from Raymond Szymanski Family

I would like to thank Mike Langendorf, Bill Althaus and the rest of the staff for the wonderful celebration of the life for my father Raymond L. Szymanski who was a WWII veteran. I especially appreciate how much you really listen and the questions you asked regarding who my father was and what he was all about. Those details showed up in every part of the service from the flowers, the music, the thank you’s, pictures, obituary, outdoor military honors, etc. etc. My father would have been so grateful for the way you honored his life. I also received phone calls from family and friends indicating how beautiful the service was in every way. You and your staff definitely go above and beyond. You treat everyone like family and your compassion is so genuine. There should be more people in the world just like all of you. No words can express our gratitude for all you have done for myself, my father and our family. Thank you so very much and may the Lord bless you and yours! Sincerely Terri Carls and the Szymanski Family
