Mark’s love and simple honesty we’re felt by all who loved him!
He was deeply sensitive, caring and sharing and loved birds, tropical fish and animals
He actually loved writing .and doodling, – and was by nature an expressive and creative individual.
I actually always admired his wild domestic decorating style, transforming his living space into an eclectic museum style curiosity space that truly expressed his creative personality…
I will always deeply cherish the crazy adventures of our youth and the variety of unique and unconventional experiences I had many opportunities to experience with him.
His intense loyalty was felt by those he loved and loved him ♥️ He will be missed!

I remember Mark from long ago. He was always so willing to give what he could and sometimes even more! He gave me my first iguana cage that he had in his basement room. I saw him later on and I remember him telling me of his adventures and all about the birds he had and loved. Fly on to Heaven Mark, you were so loved!

Dearest Mark, and Valades. Mark and I were best friends for many years. We loved trouble and fun and a little danger, even back in the Walden years. Thank you for hosting me in San Francisco all those years ago, when we were still teenagers! Long Island ice teas, birds in the flat, riding trollies and eating Ghirardelli chocolate on Pier 39. The Wharf, China town, The Castro, and the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park—you showed me the town. And boy we had fun. You were a great friend (and a great host). You had a lot of love to give and a kind, big, and generous heart. Blessed be.

I’d like to thank Brian Langendorf and staff for putting on a great memorial and celebration of life service for my mom. We received great feedback from our family and friends. My dad was especially appreciative on how it went and was very happy with the result. Thank you!!
