Ronald William Willis

Service Details

A private service with his immediate family took place.

MOUNT PLEASANT – Ronald W. Willis, 71, of Mount Pleasant, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

He was born in Racine on July 14, 1953, the son of the late Floyd and Mary (nee Philbrick) Willis.

Ronald married Joan E. Aiken on  December 13, 1975.

He owned and operated Ron’s Pest Control.  He was honored to serve his customers for over 30 years.  When he wasn’t working, Ron enjoyed woodworking.  However, he most enjoyed playing Santa Claus for many children with his natural, long white beard.

In addition to his loving wife Joan, he is survived by his daughters, Becky (Eric) Heide and Jaime (Mike) Doebereiner; his grandchildren, Ashley and Megan Doebereiner and Tyler Koss; his sister, Florence Kusters; his sisters-in-law and brother-in- law, Linda (Tom) Witek, Sally Logan, Janet Maggart, and Joe (Ute) Aiken; as well as many dear nieces and nephews, including his canine nephew, Oscar.  In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Steve Koss; his brothers, Harold Willis, Edward (Yvonne) Willis, Darlene (Ed) Aude, Don Willis, Richard Willis; and his brother-in-law, Bob Kusters.

A private service with his immediate family took place.

Ron’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Compassus Hospice for the professional and loving attention he received while under their care.
