Memorial Suggestions

Memorials to the “Pancreatic Cancer Action Network” in honor of Lorraine’s son, Stephen.

Lorraine Clara Koss, age 95 years young, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee on October 11th, 2025. Lorraine was born in Racine on June 21, 1930 to the late Raymond and Rose (nee: Brinkmann) Scholler.

On June 17, 1950 at St. Rose Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Koss, who preceded her in death on May 29, 2016, after nearly 66 years of marriage. Lorraine was employed by O’Neil Leather for over 27 years, retiring in 1990 and becoming Grady to her future Great-Grandchildren. Some of Lorraine’s favorite things were square dancing, camping, traveling and playing cards/dominos with family and close friends. Lorraine especially enjoyed going to the casino and church socials. Above all, Lorraine was all about spending quality time with her family as much as possible.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her Daughter, Sandra (Joe) Bodi; Grandchildren, Tania (Michael) Bishop, Tammy (Dan) Rakovich, Tracy (Chad) Roscoe, Kerri Matsen and Tyler Koss; Great-Grandchildren, Joe and Joshua Brewer, Russell Jensen, Cody and Christopher Vanderheyden, Kayla and Kyle Roscoe, Dakota and Mady Matsen; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Lana, Jackie, Alice, Benny, Lilli, Greyson, Jaxton, Riley and Elowyn; Sisters, Jean Mandli and Judy (Thomas) Konrad; Sister-in-law, Delores Slater; brother-in-law, Ralph (Mary) Ludwig; Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her Parents and Husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by her beloved Son, Stephen Koss; Sister, Patricia Ludwig; Sister-in-law, Shirley (Richard) Nelson; Brothers-in-law, John Mandli, Richard Slater, Larry (Jean) Koss, Clarence Koss and George Koss.
