Lois Helen Shaw

Nov 11, 1942 – Jul 2, 2017

Lois Helen Roberts was born November 1, 1942 in Webster County, Mississippi to the union of Henry and Nora Purnell Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Riley T. Shaw; five brothers Joe Henry, James, Daniel, Paul, Jackie; son-in-law Stephen Jones; and her only sister Mary Elizabeth Jamerson.

Lois graduated from Webster County Training School in Eupora, Mississippi in 1960 and married the same year. From this union came four children.

She moved to Racine, Wisconsin, circa 1969, where she met and married Riley T. Shaw in June of 1972. From this union came one child.

Although Lois worked several jobs during her life, including Racine Unified, her greatest fulfillment was found in her family and friends.

Lois’ life came to an end on Sunday morning, July 2, 2017. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Regina Davis of Milwaukee, Thomascean Anderson and husband Sam of Commerce, Georgia, and Lynn Jones of Milwaukee; sons, Montez Mason of Racine, and Ryan Shaw and wife Bethany of Milwaukee; two grandchildren, Stefan Jones and Reegan Shaw both of Milwaukee; one brother Rickey Roberts, Sr. and wife, Shirley of Evans, Georgia. Lois leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she cared for deeply.

Private services for the family were held in the funeral home on Saturday, July 8, 2017
