Sturtevant – Adam Scott Ehlert, 34, passed away unexpectedly at All Saints Hospital on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. He was born in Kenosha on April 3, 1983, the son of Steven and Leslie (born Hinze) Ehlert. Adam graduated from Case High School in 2001. He worked as Correctional Officer and currently as a CNC machine operator at Wiscon Products Inc.

Adam’s children were foremost in his life and he loved them dearly. He enjoyed being with family and friends, being outdoors, deer hunting, he was a Philadelphia Eagles and NC Tar Heels fan.  

Adam is survived by his beloved children, Hailey, Chloe, and Dayton Ehlert; mother Leslie Ehlert; father Steven Ehlert; step-brother and step-sisters, Jacob, Liz and Grace; grandmother Judith Hinze; grandfather Thomas Hinze; aunts and uncles Laura and Paul  VanDuyn;  Thomas and Kelly Hinze; Robin Ehlert Ginder; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his infant son Adam Scott Ehlert junior  “AJ”  grandparents Joanne and Robert Ehlert and aunts Traci Ehlert and Lisa Ehlert.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Visitation 5:00 – 7:00 pm. A Celebration of his Life at 7pm.

    I am sorry that I could not make it. Like I said before getting hired together I have heard so much about Adam. Granted we were always on different shifts, when we caught up it was nice hearing about him and you becoming that great grandmother. I know that you are a strong person and you will produce three new wonderful people for this world in his honor.
